Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency and excellence in every dish
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients to support smooth kitchen operations
- Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation, adhering strictly to health regulations and safety protocols
- Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and presentation of ingredients and finished dishes
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate meal service, ensuring timely delivery of orders in a lively environment
- Support menu planning efforts by providing input on ingredient selection and dish presentation techniques
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment to uphold a safe and organized kitchen environment
Experience
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or food industry setting is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, knife handling, and meal assembly
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is essential
- Strong background in kitchen operations.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting the overall success of the kitchen team
