Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumbing & Heating engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in gas installations, maintenance, and repairs. This role involves working with various tools and equipment to ensure the safe and efficient operation of gas systems in residential settings

Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair gas appliances and systems in accordance with safety regulations.
- Conduct thorough inspections of gas systems to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Utilise hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to perform necessary repairs and installations.
- Assemble components of gas systems, ensuring proper functionality and safety measures are in place.
- Perform plumbing tasks as required, including the installation of pipes and fixtures related to gas systems.
- Carry out heavy lifting tasks as needed during installations or repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including any materials used and time spent on each job.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as carpenters, when necessary to complete projects efficiently.
- Installation of bathroom suites from plans
- Installation of taps, toilets etc
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Gas Engineer or in a similar role within the industry.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various gas systems effectively.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely.
- Basic maths skills for measuring and calculating dimensions accurately.
- A valid driving licence.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients
