1. Fire Damper Testing Engineer
POSITION: FULL-TIME, PERMANENT | LOCATION: NATIONAL COVERAGE - MIDLANDS BASED
We are looking for an experienced Fire Damper Testing Engineer to carry out routine scheduled inspections, testing, and drop testing of fire and smoke dampers, ensuring full operational compliance for our diverse commercial, industrial, and healthcare client portfolio nationwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Locate, inspect, and perform drop-testing on fire and smoke dampers in compliance with BS 9999 criteria.
- Identify defects, failed mechanisms, and installation access restrictions.
- Accurately document asset data, testing results, and digital photographic evidence via our Simpro and Flow Mobile integration software.
- Maintain clear communication with contract managers, site management teams, and clients.
Requirements:
- Proven practical experience in fire damper testing, ductwork, or technical ventilation compliance systems.
- Familiarity with digital engineering job cards and compliance reporting tools (experience with Simpro and/or Flow Mobile is highly advantageous).
- Strong awareness of health & safety practices and site RAMS protocols.
- Full valid UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel nationally.
Pay: £30,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
