Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Breakfast Sous Chef to join our vibrant kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking breakfast dishes, paninis, jacket potatoes and salads in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in culinary arts or kitchen experience to showcase their skills and contribute to a welcoming dining experience for our guests.
Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast items, including eggs, pancakes, sandwiches, and other specialised dishes
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards
- Maintain high levels of cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with our own policies and food safety regulations
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management to ensure ingredients are fresh and available
- Manage pre prep on a daily basis according to our requirements
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to uphold hygiene standards within the kitchen environment
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a café setting.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen hygiene
- Previous experience with meal preparation and culinary techniques suitable for breakfast service
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- Good communication skills and a friendly attitude towards colleagues and guests.

Pay: £12.71-£13.50 per hour
