Job Title: Excavator Operator (10 Tonne and Above) – Deep Excavation Experience Required

About Us:
Based in Wales, specialising in the installation, maintenance, and repair of overhead powerline infrastructure across the UK. We are dedicated to delivering safe and efficient solutions for the energy sector, and we’re looking for an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team. If you have deep excavation experience, are skilled in operating 10-tonne and above excavators, and want to play a key role in essential infrastructure projects, please get in touch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate excavators (10 tonne and above) on installation and maintenance projects.
- Carry out deep excavation work.
- Work closely with site managers and engineers to ensure excavation work meets project specifications.
- Assist with the setup and preparation of sites.
- Ensure all tasks are completed in compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Travel to various project sites across the UK as required.
- Inspect and maintain machinery, reporting faults or necessary repairs.
Requirements:
- Valid CPCS or NPORS Excavator Operator ticket (10 tonne and above).
- Proven experience in deep excavation work, particularly in infrastructure and utility projects.
- Experience in or knowledge of working on overhead powerline construction or similar projects is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of site health and safety protocols.
- Willingness to travel and work at locations across the UK, including remote areas.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- A proactive, reliable attitude with a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
