Night Kitchen Cleaner – The Chequers, Churchill
The Chequers in Churchill is looking for a reliable and hardworking Night Kitchen Cleaner to deep clean our very busy kitchen and ensure it is fully prepared for service each morning.
Role Details:
- Hours: 3 nights per week, 10:00pm – 6:00am
- Location: The Chequers, Churchill
Key Responsibilities:
- Deep cleaning of all kitchen surfaces, including walls, floors, and drains
- Thorough cleaning of the KP (kitchen porter) area
- Cleaning and organising fridges and pass area
- Putting ovens and machinery through cleaning cycles
- Cleaning pans and oven parts using the decarboniser
- Steam cleaning walls, floors, ovens, and drains
- Washing and jet washing bins
- Safe handling of strong cleaning chemicals in line with COSHH regulations
- Waste removal and maintaining a safe, hygienic environment
- Ensuring the kitchen is fully reset and ready for the team to start promptly in the morning
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous cleaning experience (commercial kitchen preferred but not essential)
- Confidence handling industrial cleaning chemicals safely
- Strong attention to detail and pride in high standards
- Ability to work independently overnight
- Reliable, punctual, and physically fit for demanding cleaning tasks
