Part-time Receptionist
HPB Duloe Manor
We are looking for a part time Receptionist to join our friendly team for this exclusive self-catering complex of 40 properties and associated facilities on a fixed term 6 month contract (Maternity Cover). The successful candidate will be responsible for welcoming our guests, providing a professional and friendly service to them throughout their stay, sharing local knowledge of the surrounding area to enhance their holiday experience.
Hours: 9am – 5pm Working 3 days per week to include a Saturday (Possible extra shifts available to cover staff and school holidays).
Rate of pay £13.25 per hour
Training will be provided, however experience in a Receptionist role would be preferred.
Your role:
- Welcoming guests on arrival & provide a friendly supportive service during their stay
- Providing information and support on local area, places to visit & making bookings
- Liaise with other departments to manage issues raised by guests
- Maintain & update information folders & notice boards
- Daily review of booking system
- Ordering site materials and stock for on-site shop
- Record accurate billing information for guest and take payment on departure
- Supporting the Housekeeping team with daily management of small volumes of internally washed items, keeping back office neat and tidy, and property inspections prior to guests occupying
- Participate in a rota system for the emergency site phone cover outside of normal working hours (bonus scheme in place).
