Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Waiting Staff to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service within a vibrant hospitality environment. Previous restaurant or barista experience is advantageous, along with a solid understanding of food safety standards.
Duties
- Welcome guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their visit
- Serve food and drinks promptly and professionally, maintaining a high standard of presentation
- Assist with setting up dining areas, including table arrangements and cleanliness before service
- Clear tables efficiently, ensuring the dining area remains tidy and inviting
- Support bar operations as needed, including serving drinks and handling barista tasks
- Maintain knowledge of menu offerings to answer guest questions confidently
- Adhere strictly to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods
Skills
- Proven experience in catering, serving, or hospitality roles, preferably within a restaurant environment
- Strong understanding of food preparation and presentation standards
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene standards
- Barista experience is desirable but not essential; training will be provided if necessary
- Flexibility to work shifts that may include evenings and weekends as required
