Job Overview
We are looking for dedicated candidate's to join our team to support the preparation of high-quality meat mixes in a fast-paced Mixing Room environment. This physically demanding role requires strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining exceptional standards of quality, cleanliness, and hygiene.
Shifts: 8am-6pm, Mon-Fri 5 day week, every third Saturday you would be working.
Free breakfast and lunch provided.
Very competitive pay.
Main function and scope of position:
To follow recipes, operate and tend to machines to mix or blend a variety of raw food and spices etc.
Main duties include but are not limited to:
- To operate a clean and tidy mixing room
- Ensuring that all the mixes meet Heck Food recipe specification
- Ensuring all heck Food procedures are followed
- All recipes must be followed
- All batch codes must be recorded accurately
- All batches must be labelled correctly
- Mixing room to be kept clean and tidy at all times
- All staff must be wearing the correct Colour of PPE to which product they are using
- All health and safety procedures must be followed when operating machinery or using knifes
- Report all issues to your line manager
- To complete relevant paperwork & checks
- To keep segregation in place (meat species, veg, allergen)
- Any damages to the equipment must be reported to manager
- Responsibility for the issued knifes
Required:
· Ability to meet production deadlines and ensure orders are completed on time.
Driving license.
