Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Vehicle Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for performance vehicles. Moreover, they will possess extensive mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with vehicle maintenance and repair . This role offers an excellent opportunity for a professional eager to utilise their expertise in a fast-paced environment, ensuring vehicles are maintained and upgraded to the highest standards. The Senior Vehicle Technician will play a vital role in diagnosing issues, performing repairs, liaising with other team members to provide a flawless customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostics using genuine dealer diagnostic systems, Pico Scope, Genuine schematics and technical manuals to identify vehicle faults.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles, including engine, transmission, suspension, and electrical systems
- Carrying out servicing and general maintenance across a range of performance vehicles
- Interpret technical drawings and schematics to facilitate precise repairs and modifications
- Maintaining a clean, safe and professional working environment
- Collaborate closely with the Front of house and wider team to ensure customer expectations are exceeded
- Ensure all safety protocols are adhered to during maintenance activities, including heavy lifting procedures
- Keeping up to date with new technologies, products and tuning trends relevant to the VAG and performance sector.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians, fostering skill development within the team
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician with a strong background in mechanical systems and diagnostics
- On occasion converse with customers on complex
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in vehicle maintenance or engineering are preferred but not essential

Pay: £45,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
