Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista/Server to join our vibrant team. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, adhering to company standards.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing friendly and professional service.
- Handle cash transactions and operate the till with precision.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including cleaning equipment and sanitising surfaces regularly.
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Follow food safety guidelines at all times to ensure hygiene standards are met.
- Assist in food preparation tasks when required, such as assembling snacks or light meals.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly without compromising quality.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar customer service role is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is preferred.
- Experience in serving customers and handling cash transactions is advantageous.
- Basic maths skills for handling payments accurately.
- Ability to perform food preparation tasks with attention to detail.
- Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Friendly, approachable manner with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work well within a team and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
