Purpose:
1. To coordinate and lead on specialised projects within the New Dawn Day opportunities Service.
2. To assist with the assessment and review of service members programmes and annual reviews.
3. To be responsible for the development and monitoring and the preparation of staff training plans in conjunction with the service Manager.
5. To assist and undertake the assessment of service members that are referred to the service and with the service manager and other senior staff make decisions about the suitability of new referrals.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
1. To facilitate and plan a termly programme that meets service member’s individual educational, social wellbeing and developmental needs.
2. To manage and actively participate in the organising and delivery of a high-quality service in a caring environment that adheres to the Tower Project’s policies and procedures.
3. To ensure the delivery of the service in consultation and partnership with Service Members, Parents/ Carers, Schools/ Colleges, and other relevant parties.
4. To provide and/ or receive support, advice, and training as appropriate.
5. To be responsible to the New Dawn Day Service manager for the effective and efficient use of the Day service budget.
6. To develop and implement new initiatives as required.
7. To address and resolve issues in the general running of the services.
Specific Duties:
1. To maintain and develop systems for monitoring training, programme development Accreditation and other areas of specialised work.
2. To organise, attend and contribute to New Dawn team meetings, Day Service staff supervisions in a deputy capacity.
3. To facilitate the exchange of information and show co-operation when working with other staff and partner organisations.
4. To initiate and/ or attend training events and appropriate external meetings according to expressed needs and demands, where possible.
5. To be responsible for the use of the buildings, health & safety and security of the premises and its equipment.
6. To be responsible for the preparation of timetables, activity plans, programme reports, monitoring data and other appropriate work according to the needs of the post.
7. Ensuring that administrative and financial responsibilities are conducted according to Tower Project procedures.
8. To actively promote and develop inclusion and equal opportunities.
9. To liaise with and involve service members, parents/ carers, outside agencies, support staff, key workers and other partner agencies in the planning and delivery of the service.
10. To ensure that the guidelines of relevant legislation, e.g., Care Act 2014 are implemented at all times.
11. To participate and meet regularly for supervision meetings with the New Dawn Day Opportunities Service Manager.
12. Undertake other duties as appropriate to the nature of the Post.

Pay: £30,000.00 per year
