Vehicle Technician – Land Rover Specialist

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our well-established, family-run business in Liskeard. We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Vehicle Technician to become part of our friendly and experienced team, working on a diverse range of specialist projects involving some of the most iconic vehicles ever built.
We specialise in the repair, maintenance, renovation, and full rebuild of the legendary Land Rover Defender, alongside servicing and repair work on modern Land Rover and Range Rover vehicles. Our modern workshop is fully equipped with dealer-level diagnostic equipment and specialist tooling, providing an excellent working environment for technicians who take pride in their craft.
The Role
The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of light vehicle maintenance and repair. This is a varied and rewarding position, with work ranging from routine servicing and fault diagnosis through to galvanised chassis replacements, major mechanical repairs, and complete vehicle restorations.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in light vehicle maintenance and repair
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Confidence using modern diagnostic equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence
Previous Land Rover experience or manufacturer training would be advantageous but is not essential. We are looking for an individual with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for delivering high-quality workmanship.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- Optional Saturday morning overtime available
