We're launching something special in Galashiels and we want you with us from day one.
Let's Go Swim is opening a brand new, purpose-built swim teaching facility in Galashiels. Think small manageable class sizes, a lovely warm pool, and a setup designed specifically for teaching swimming the right way. We’re looking for passionate, qualified swimming teachers to help us build our brand and grow our business from the ground up.
This isn’t just another teaching job. It’s a chance to shape a new swim school, build real relationships with families, and become a trusted name in the Borders community.
The Role
- Teach all ages to become water confident & swim - from nervous beginners, toddlers to adults
- Small class sizes so you can actually focus on each swimmer and see progress every week
- Warm, welcoming pool environment designed for learning.
- Be the “face” of Let's Go Swim - you’ll be front and centre as we grow. Your energy and rapport with swimmers and parents will define our reputation
What We're Looking For
You’ll thrive here if you are:
- Qualified - Hold a valid swimming teacher qualification: STA Award/Certificate, SSTQ, or equivalent
- Great with kids - You genuinely enjoy working with children and have the patience and creativity to make lessons fun
- Reliable - Parents and swimmers count on you. We need people we can count on too
- A people person - Confident talking to parents, encouraging swimmers, and representing our brand with professionalism and warmth
- Ambitious - You want to be part of building something. This is a ground-floor opportunity to grow with us

The Details
- Location: Let's Go Swim, Galashiels - our brand-new bespoke facility in Netherdale Industrial estate.
- Hours: Part-time & full-time positions available. Weekday evenings & weekends included
- Pay: Competitive hourly rate, dependent on experience & qualifications
- Start: Immediate starts available as we open our doors
