Occupational Health Advisor
Location: Northallerton, North Yorkshire
Pay Rate: £44.14 per hour (Umbrella)
Contract: Ongoing
Hours: Part-Time – 15 to 20 hours per week
Working Pattern: Flexible Hybrid Working Available
Sanctuary Personnel are currently recruiting for an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join a specialist Occupational Health and Wellbeing team on an ongoing contract basis in North Yorkshire.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Occupational Health professional looking for a flexible role within a supportive and highly experienced team environment. The position offers a high level of autonomy, allowing you to independently manage your own caseload while contributing to a proactive and forward-thinking occupational health service.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering a comprehensive occupational health service, supporting employee wellbeing and promoting positive workplace health outcomes across a varied workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a varied occupational health caseload independently
- Delivering high-quality case management and occupational health assessments
- Providing professional advice and guidance to managers and employees
- Supporting health promotion initiatives and wellbeing programmes
- Undertaking health surveillance activities where required
- Producing clear, evidence-based reports and recommendations
- Contributing to positive employee wellbeing and attendance outcomes
- Maintaining accurate clinical records and ensuring professional standards are met
Requirements:
- Registered Occupational Health qualification
- Previous experience working as an Occupational Health Advisor
- Strong case management experience
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills
- Ability to work autonomously and manage workload effectively
- Customer-focused approach with strong problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of workplace health, wellbeing, and occupational health best practice
