We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Morning Cleaner to join our cleaning team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in various commercial premises during early hours. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality cleaning services in a timely manner, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. Previous janitorial experience and knowledge of commercial cleaning practices are highly desirable.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, surfaces, restrooms, and communal spaces.
- Utilise appropriate cleaning equipment and products to ensure optimal hygiene standards.
- Empty bins, replenish supplies such as soap and paper towels, and report any maintenance issues.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- Complete cleaning checklists accurately to maintain consistency and quality of service.
- Work efficiently within scheduled times to meet operational deadlines.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail with organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during early morning hours.
- Reliable transportation or proximity to the work location is advantageous.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to perform manual tasks such as lifting and bending.
