Dockside Day Nursery and Pre-School are currently recruiting for a Level 3 Nursery Nurse, with a full and relevant level 3 or above childcare qualification only. The role is working full time (40 hours) with experience of ages 3-4. Your role as Nursery Nurse will include:
Possessing a thorough knowledge of Ofsted and the Early Years Foundation Stage requirements and effectively implementing these
Being a key person carrying out all related responsibilities in building relationships with a small group of children and their families according to the EYFS
Completing children’s developmental and observation records
Ensuring the nursery offers an environment which reflects the cultural diversity of all children.
Promoting positive relationships with parents, children and colleagues
Ensuring health, safety and wellbeing of the children at all times
Working some weekends and bank holidays to assist marketing the nursery (time back in lieu)
Committing to updating training and attending courses as required (some could be on Saturdays)
Attending staff meetings and parents open evenings/weekends.
You may have experience of the following: Childcare Practitioner, Early Years Practitioner, Play worker, Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Teacher, Early Years Educator.
