ABOUT US:
We don’t mean to brag… but we’re kind of a big deal! ;)
Little Foxes’ aim is to create a premium childcare community, blending quality education with outdoor adventures.
In short, we help parents and carers give their children a place where they can spend 80% of their time exploring the outdoors, following a bespoke curriculum focused on mindfulness, wellbeing, and curiosity.
We believe childhood should be calm, connected, and full of wonder — giving children the tools to regulate emotions, build confidence, and develop a lifelong love of learning.
We’ve supported thousands of families by providing premium childcare across 7 nurseries and 3 out-of-school clubs over the last 30 years!
Right now, we’re growing our team and looking for an incredible Pre-School Teacher to join our woodland wonderland and help shape young minds during their most important years.
We’ve got the setting…
We’ve got the children…
We just need you!

PLUS… we have our own in-house training academy to support your development and career growth.
IS THIS THE BEST TEACHING ROLE EVER?!
Honestly… it might be ;)
Here’s why:
We’re not a start-up — we’ve been doing this for over 30 years, and we’re really good at it (if we do say so ourselves!).
Our approach isn’t just about education — it’s about developing the whole child. That means balancing learning with emotional wellbeing, outdoor exploration, and mindful moments that help children feel calm, safe, and confident.
You won’t just be “another teacher” — you’ll be a key part of a child’s journey.
THE PERFECT CANDIDATE WILL:
- Be passionate about early years education and child development
- Value mindfulness and wellbeing, and feel confident supporting children with emotional regulation
- Love the outdoors (mud, rain, sunshine — we embrace it all!)
- Be nurturing, patient, and full of positive energy
- Be creative and able to bring learning to life through play
- Be a team player (we’re all in this together!)
- Have great communication skills with both children and parents
- Be organised and proactive in planning engaging activities
- Hold a QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) qualification (essential)
- Have a good sense of humour (essential)
