Joinery and Heritage Craftsmen are one of the country’s leading specialists in
the restoration and replacement of Traditional timber Sliding Sash Windows .
The majority of the work will be carried out in our clients premises restoring sash windows and casement windows for high end clients with high quality expectations . Whist we endeavour to keep our tradies close to home there will be occasions when working away from home will arise. ( Allowances will be paid for this)

Experienced Sash Window Joiner. (Employed or Sub Contract)
You must be able to demonstrate the following.
Experience
You are a Conservation and Restoration minded problem-solver, with
knowledge and experience of traditional Joinery techniques.
Experienced in Rot repair, splicing, glazing and use of Repair Care Resin.
Fitting of double glazing to existing sash windows.
Qualities
Team-player, good communications with our office, colleagues and
ability to work on own initiative.
Attention to detail in both your work and workplace tidiness
Positive attitude, punctual and committed
What you’ll do:
- Bespoke Joinery projects
- Window frames
- Doors and heritage joinery
- To liaise with management in order to ensure the works are in line with the programme of works and as per instructions
- To liaise with their line manager in order to ensure of a continuous flow of works
- To ensure the health and safety of themselves and others
Have you got what it takes:
- Detailed knowledge of carpentry and joinery works
- Detailed knowledge of safety
- Able to produce quality work within reasonable deadlines
- Self-motivates and seeks improvement in self and others to achieve and surpass targets/goals
- Operates within company standards and policies; considers consequences/outcomes when making decisions
Requirements
CSCS is a requirement
DBS is an advantage .
Provide two references prior to interview
Position: 4 week Trial period, leading to full time.
Based on basic and Quality and Performance Bonuses.
