About Us
The Governors of Goring Church of England Primary School are seeking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant to join this happy and successful School. This position is for 22.5 per week to be worked 8.35am -1.05pm Monday to Friday, term time only. This role also includes supervising your class during their lunch break.
Goring Church of England Primary School is a two form entry primary school with a strong Christian ethos and active links with St Mary’s Church in Goring.
The successful applicant will be required to support teaching and learning and may be asked to work in any year group within the School, or to support groups or individuals as directed by the Head teacher. Part of this role will be to ensure the security, safety, well-being and care of the pupils of the school and to promote social, emotional and physical development during the lunch time break.
We are looking for someone who:
- has demonstratable experience/employment in supporting pupil’s learning, including those with SEN
- has experience in supporting children’s learning in a proactive and effective way, including self-initiated learning
- has an understanding of continuous and enhanced provision
- understands how children learn and develop and is passionate about securing positive outcomes for all
- can demonstrate high quality interactions with children
- is aware of the differing needs of children and how adaptations can support their successes and achievements
- has initiative and can work independently as well as alongside colleagues
- will support the Christian ethos of the school
- is committed to engaging in Continuing Professional Development

- First aid training will be provided if necessary

Salary: £24,796 - £25,185
