RoundWorks IT is an established Managed Service Provider (MSP) delivering expert IT support, networking, cybersecurity and cloud solutions to businesses across the UK. As an IT Support Apprentice, you'll gain valuable hands-on experience supporting a wide range of businesses and technologies while developing the technical and professional skills needed to thrive in the industry.
In this role, you'll work towards your Level 3 IT Support Apprenticeship, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
A Typical Day in the Job:
Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support to customers remotely and on-site
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues across Windows and Mac operating systems
Respond to IT support requests within agreed SLA timeframes
Install and configure IT equipment in office, remote and customer environments
Set up user accounts, email addresses and security groups
Maintain accurate documentation of processes, configurations and critical system information
Support the upgrade and deployment of IT hardware and software
Troubleshoot printers, copiers and scanners
Communicate clearly with customers, providing regular updates on progress
Collaborate with the wider technical team, sharing knowledge and updates
Support IT projects and attend training sessions as required
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and by the Baltic team.
Salary, Hours & Benefits:
Salary of £19,000 per annum
Monday to Friday, 10:00am – 7:00pm (1-hour unpaid lunch break)

Desired Skills, Qualities and Experience:
Strong communication skills
Good IT skills and a genuine interest in technology
Excellent problem-solving abilities
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Customer-focused approach with strong attention to detail
Grade 5/C in GCSE English and Grade 4/C in GCSE Maths is required for this role
Your Training with Baltic:
This Level 3 apprenticeship provides everything you need to immerse yourself in the exciting world of IT and launch a rewarding career in technical support.
You'll gain practical experience supporting users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, configuring devices and working with a range of business technologies. With our unique curriculum and one-to-one support, you'll accelerate your technical knowledge and gain the skills, qualification and confidence needed to succeed in IT.
You'll be based full-time with your employer and quickly become a valued member of the team. Our training is 100% online, including real-time classes with expert trainers and self-paced courses created by industry specialists.
