B+B Belgravia is a 26-bedroom boutique hotel situated in the heart of central London. We pride ourselves on providing warm hospitality, high standards of service, and a welcoming environment for all our guests.
We are currently seeking a Full Time General Assistant to join our friendly team. This is a hands-on role that will suit someone with an eye for detail, excellent customer service skills, and a flexible attitude.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning and preparing guest bedrooms and bathrooms to a high standard.
- Changing bed linen, towels, and restocking amenities as required.
- Ensuring all public areas of the hotel are clean, tidy, and welcoming.
- Assisting with breakfast service on some shifts, including opening and closing the breakfast shift, setting up, preparing breakfast for guests, serving guests, clearing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in the breakfast area.
- Handling laundry duties, including managing linen and ensuring the linen pantry is fully stocked at all times.
- Reporting any maintenance issues or guest requests to the Duty Manager.
- Supporting colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations and an excellent guest experience.
Experience
- At least 1 year of hotel housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred
- Training will be provided
- Strong attention to detail and high cleanliness standards
- Friendly, professional, and well-presented
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Flexible to work mornings, weekends, and public holidays as required
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hotel environment
- Willing to assist with both housekeeping and breakfast service duties
- Basic understanding of health & safety and hygiene standards
