About the role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Window Fitter’s Mate / Labourer to join our team in the Shrewsbury area. The successful candidate will assist experienced installers with window and door fitting work across domestic and commercial sites.
This role involves working on a variety of projects and requires someone who is practical, dependable, and willing to learn.
Duties will include:
- Assisting window fitters with installations
- Carrying and handling window, door, and building materials
- Preparing tools and materials for jobs
- Removing old frames and assisting with site preparation
- Keeping work areas clean and safe
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Following site rules and health & safety procedures
- Working professionally in customers’ homes and workplaces
Requirements:
- Valid DBS check required
- Previous labouring, construction, or fitting experience preferred
- Good attitude and willingness to learn
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work well as part of a team
- Good attention to detail
- Full UK driving licence preferred (not essential)
