We are seeking dedicated Bank/Casual Support Workers to join our team, providing flexible and responsive support across various settings. Responsibilities
- Supporting vulnerable individuals in daily activities, ensuring their safety and wellbeing
- Assisting with personal care routines, including hygiene, feeding, and mobility support
- Implementing individualised support plans tailored to each person's needs
- Engaging in meaningful activities to promote development and social interaction
- Maintaining accurate records of support provided and any incidents or concerns
- Communicating effectively with colleagues, families, and other professionals involved in care plans
- Assisting with transport arrangements, including driving when necessary and appropriate
- Responding promptly to urgent needs or emergencies in line with organisational policies
Requirements
- Experience working with vulnerable individuals is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with individuals, families, and team members
- Knowledge of support planning is advantageous
- IT literacy for maintaining accurate documentation and records
- Compassionate attitude with a commitment to safeguarding principles
- Flexibility to work on a casual basis, including variable shifts as required
