We are seeking an enthusiastic and commercially minded Maritime Commercial Coordinator to lead the promotion, development and delivery of our adult and commercial maritime training provision. Working across a diverse portfolio of Royal Yachting Association (RYA) and Seafish-accredited programmes, you will play a key role in growing learner participation, strengthening employer partnerships and ensuring high-quality training that meets the needs of both the leisure and commercial maritime sectors. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive professional who is passionate about maritime education, building industry relationships and driving innovative training solutions that support skills development, economic growth and career progression throughout South Devon and beyond.
We are looking for an organised and proactive individual with a Level 3 qualification (or above) in a business-related field and GCSEs in English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above. You will have experience coordinating training programmes, promoting learning opportunities and working with employers or industry partners, alongside knowledge of commercial maritime training frameworks such as RYA and/or Seafish. With excellent communication, administration and customer service skills, you will be able to work independently, manage priorities effectively and build positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. A strong commitment to continuous professional development, equality and inclusion, and the safeguarding and wellbeing of young people is essential. Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends, willingness to travel across the South West, and access to suitable transport are also required.
