We are seeking ambitious experienced Field Based Trade Sales Agents to join our team and expand our reach across Trade customers, Builders, Builders Merchants, Fencers, Landscapers Park Homes sites and more. These field-based roles will be commission based @10% uncapped with high earning potential . Role Overview
As a Field Based Trade Sales Agent, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and establishing Climar Industries Limited as the preferred supplier for manufactured fencing and outdoor living solutions in your region. Reporting to the Regional Trade Sales Manager, you will focus on building and nurturing client relationships, developing new business opportunities, and delivering tailored solutions to meet the needs of trade and commercial customers.
Key Responsibilities
· Sales & Growth: Proactively acquire new trade clients , develop sales pipelines, and consistently achieve or exceed personal sales targets within the assigned region.
· Client Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and new trade customers ensuring their requirements are fully understood and met.
· Market Development: Identify and pursue new business channels, opportunities, and emerging markets for Climar’s fencing and outdoor living products.
· Product Expertise: Provide expert advice on the full range of products, including ColourFence,Colourgates ColourShed, ColourRail, Pergolas, and Composite Fencing, delivering tailored solutions to suit each client’s needs.
· Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams in marketing, customer service, and logistics to ensure a seamless experience from initial enquiry through to project completion.
· Reporting: Monitor personal KPIs, produce regular sales reports, and support budgeting and forecasting activities to inform management decisions.
· Representation: Represent Climar Industries Limited at client meetings, trade events, and exhibitions, acting as a brand ambassador with professionalism and enthusiasm.
Requirements
· Proven experience in trade sales, business development, or account management, ideally within the construction, landscaping, or outdoor products sector.
· Excellent track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
· Outstanding communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
· Commercial awareness and a keen ability to identify and act on new opportunities.
· Organised, self-motivated, and adept at managing multiple projects with strong attention to detail.
· Competence with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
· Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly within your designated region.
