Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Night Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our premises during the overnight hours. This role is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently. The successful candidate will contribute to creating a safe and welcoming environment for staff and visitors alike. Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is highly desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas, including floors, surfaces, restrooms, and communal spaces
- Ensure waste disposal is completed efficiently and bins are emptied regularly
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good condition and report any issues promptly
- Follow health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Restock cleaning supplies and toiletries as needed
- Conduct periodic deep-cleaning tasks as scheduled or required
- Adhere to company policies regarding confidentiality and security during night shifts
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is advantageous but not mandatory
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Reliability and punctuality are essential qualities for this role
- Knowledge of health and safety standards related to cleaning operations is beneficial but training will be provided
