Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
- Engage with customers, providing recommendations and taking orders in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic maths skills for processing payments.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and assist in food preparation when necessary.
- Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and communicate needs to management.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality, creating a welcoming environment for all guests.
Requirements
- Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the restaurant industry is preferred.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash and processing transactions accurately.
- A passion for hospitality and providing outstanding customer service.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
