Client Manager – Accountancy
Location: Banbury / Stratford (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
Salary: £50,000–£60,000 + excellent benefits
We're looking for an experienced Client Manager to join a growing accountancy practice, managing a varied portfolio of clients and supporting the wider team. This is an excellent opportunity to combine technical delivery, client contact, and team leadership.
What we're looking for:
- ACA, ACCA, CTA qualified (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3 years' practice experience in accounts and tax
- Strong technical knowledge in accounts preparation and review
- Experience reviewing and mentoring junior staff
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- Ability to work to deadlines in a client-facing environment
- Must live within commuting distance
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of clients, providing accounts, tax, and advisory support
- Act as day-to-day contact for clients and respond promptly to queries
- Review work prepared by junior staff and provide guidance
- Identify opportunities for business planning and tax advice
- Support team workflow, development, and supervision
- Ensure compliance deadlines are met
