Mobile HGV Technician – Field Based (Wednesbury)
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mobile HGV Technician to join a well-established team covering the Wednesbury area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled technician who enjoys working independently and out on the road, carrying out essential maintenance and repair work on a varied fleet of heavy goods vehicles.
The Role:
As a Mobile HGV Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out servicing, diagnostics, breakdown repairs, and maintenance on HGVs at customer sites and roadside locations. You will ensure all work is completed to a high standard, keeping vehicles safe, compliant, and roadworthy.
Shifts Available:
Flexible shift patterns available.
Salary:
- Up to £55,000 per year, depending on experience and shift pattern
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an HGV Technician / Mobile HGV Mechanic
- Strong diagnostic and repair skills
- Ability to work independently and manage workload on the road
- Full UK driving licence (HGV licence preferred)
- Relevant qualifications (NVQ/City & Guilds or equivalent)
