Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Injection Mould Tool Hanger to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the assembly, maintenance, and handling of mould tools used in injection moulding processes. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong mechanical background and experience in fabrication and materials handling to contribute to high-quality production operations. The position involves working with various tools and equipment, ensuring efficient tool management, and maintaining safety standards across the workshop.
Duties
- Assist with the installation, removal, and hanging of injection mould tools in moulding machines
- Support the setup and calibration of tools using hand tools and precision measurement devices
- Perform basic fabrication tasks including assembly of tooling components
- Handle materials and tooling components safely within warehouse environments
- Conduct routine inspections of mould tools for wear or damage and report issues promptly
- Assist with materials handling, including lifting, moving, and organising tooling parts across the workshop
- Maintain a clean, organised workspace adhering to safety protocols at all times
Experience
- Proven experience in assembly, or tooling within a manufacturing or warehouse setting
- Competence in using hand tools, and other mechanical tools
- Strong understanding of materials handling procedures and safety standards in a workshop environment
- Mechanical knowledge related to injection moulding processes and tooling maintenance

Pay: £12.81-£13.50 per hour
