HGV 2 DRIVER – PERMANENT, FULL TIME POSITION
Minworth, Birmingham, B76 1AF
Salary - £30,692p.a. + Overtime at time/half
40 hour week
Hours of work - 6.00am to 2.30pm, Monday to Friday
06:00-14:30 – some overtime required but normally more than an hour or 2
Time and a half overtime after 14:30
Pallet return bonus
30 days holiday plus bank holidays
Xmas shutdown
No weekends
JOB Description
Average 10-15 drops per day in local area
Mixture of pump truck / pallet drops, some smaller boxes to handball / sack truck / some larger orders / sites with forklifts to offload from the side.
Benefiting from:

Delivering to regular local customers in the surrounding area to the depot
Designated route the majority of time to build up a rapport with the customer and familiarity with the area.
PDA handhelds in place.
Full PPE supplied.
My client is one of the UK’s largest independent paper merchant and looking to recruit a HGV 2 Driver at the location above.
Successful candidates should be able to offer the following;
Category C driving licence, with Digi card and CPC
Previous multi drop delivery experience
Knowledge of PDA an advantage.
Experience with use of tail lifts
Able to undertake manual lifting involving lifting up to 25 kgs
Flexible approach.
