Working closely with senior leaders, you will lead the registration, mobilisation and launch of a new children's home while supporting an existing home with an established Registered Manager. This unique opportunity will provide valuable multi-site management experience, exposure to wider operational responsibilities and a clear pathway towards a future Responsible Individual role as Embrace Care continues to grow.

About the Home:
Located in a peaceful countryside setting, our specialist children's residential home has been designed to provide a calm, structured and therapeutic environment where children and young people can thrive, develop independence and achieve positive outcomes.
The service supports children and young people with:
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- ADHD
- Learning Disabilities
- Additional and Complex Needs
Our therapeutic approach focuses on emotional regulation, stability, personal development and achieving long-term positive outcomes.
The Role:
This is far more than a traditional Registered Manager position.
You will take the lead on the registration, mobilisation and opening of a new children's home, ensuring the service is established to the highest standards from day one. Alongside this, you will work closely with senior leaders and provide leadership support to a second home, helping to drive quality, compliance, team development and positive outcomes.
This dual-service exposure will provide valuable experience across multiple homes and prepare you for future operational leadership opportunities within the organisation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the registration, mobilisation and opening of a new children's home
- Holding full Registered Manager accountability under Ofsted regulations
- Supporting leadership and operational development within a second established service
- Driving safeguarding, quality assurance and regulatory compliance
- Ensuring compliance with Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards
- Leading recruitment, induction, supervision and development of staff
- Developing high-performing teams and positive workplace cultures
- Preparing for and leading Ofsted inspections
- Working collaboratively with families, local authorities and external professionals
- Participating in the senior leadership on-call rota
- Supporting strategic growth and service development across the organisation
Requirements:
We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Registered Manager who has a proven track record of delivering high-quality children's residential services and is ready to take the next step in their leadership career.
Essential requirements:
- Minimum five years' experience as a Registered Manager within an Ofsted-regulated Children's Residential Home
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare
- Proven track record of achieving Good or Outstanding Ofsted inspection outcomes
- Strong knowledge of Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards
- Experience supporting children and young people with Autism, ADHD, Learning Disabilities and complex needs
- Excellent leadership, safeguarding and people management skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Right to work in the UK
