Assistant Chef / Sous Chef Needed – Catch 22

Hours: 30 hours per week (with additional hours frequently available)
About Us: We are a busy, quality-driven fish and chip shop dedicated to serving the best food in runcorn. We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Assistant Chef / Sous Chef to join our team, help run our kitchen smoothly, and deliver top-notch food to our customers.
The Role As our Assistant Chef, you will work closely with the team to ensure the kitchen operates efficiently. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Food Preparation: Handling daily prep, including fish, batter, potatoes, and sides.
- Kitchen Operations: Assisting with frying, cooking, and plating during busy service times.
- Hygiene & Safety: Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness and food safety throughout the kitchen.
- Teamwork: Stepping up to support the team wherever needed to keep service fast and high-quality.
