Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to join our team in Blandford. This role is vital in helping us provide outstanding home care services that truly make a difference in our clients' lives. Join us in our mission to be the most admired care company in the region.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and support to clients, engaging them in activities they enjoy.
- Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and mobility.
- Follow individualized care plans to meet each client’s specific needs.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes or concerns.
- Support clients with medication reminders and light household tasks.
- Promote independence and dignity at all times.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure quality care.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
- Qualifications
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Valid driving license and access to a vehicle are required.
- Ability to follow detailed care plans and instructions.
- Previous experience in home or residential care is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
- Good IT skills for documentation purposes.
- Reliable, caring, and professional attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Hours
- Flexible or gauranteed hours available
- Shifts are 8-2 or 2-10pm (but we can be flexible with this)
- Every Other Weekend availability required
