A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Egham (TW20) is seeking a number of dedicated and experienced Learning Support Assistants to join their team on a full-time basis from September 2026.
The school has opportunities available across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 and is looking for passionate professionals who are committed to making a positive difference to the lives of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

The Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers, the SENCO and wider support staff to provide high-quality support to pupils with a range of additional needs. You may be working on a 1:1 basis, within small intervention groups, or supporting pupils within the classroom environment.
The school supports children with a variety of needs including:
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- ADHD
- Speech, Language and Communication Needs
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
- Moderate Learning Difficulties
- Sensory processing difficulties
- EHCP-supported pupils
Successful candidates will be confident in adapting their approach to meet individual pupil needs and will be able to build positive, trusting relationships that promote both learning and emotional wellbeing.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Previous experience supporting children with SEND within a school or specialist setting.
- A strong understanding of autism, ADHD and other additional learning needs.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A calm, patient and nurturing approach.
- The ability to support pupils with emotional regulation and behaviour needs.
- Experience delivering interventions and adapting learning where required.
- A genuine passion for helping children overcome barriers to learning.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
