Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Marker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately marking lines on various surfaces, ensuring safety and organisation in a range of environments. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail, good communication skills, and experience in management or maintenance. The position is vital in maintaining clear, visible markings that support operational efficiency and safety standards across our projects.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces and ensure they are suitable for marking, including cleaning and surface inspection.
- Operate line marking equipment to create precise lines according to specifications and safety standards.
- Maintain and perform routine maintenance on line marking tools and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Manage the scheduling of line marking activities to meet project deadlines.
- Coordinate with site managers and other team members to ensure markings are correctly placed and visible.
- Drive company vehicles to transport equipment and materials to various sites as needed.
- Conduct quality checks on completed markings to verify accuracy, visibility, and durability.
- Document work progress and report any issues or safety concerns promptly.
Qualifications
- CSCS Card
- Driving License
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work standards.
- Physical fitness to handle manual tasks, including lifting equipment and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
