*6 Week Contract.*
To accurately pack components into boxes in line with product specifications, quality standards, and production requirements, ensure finished goods are ready for storage or dispatch.
Key Responsibilities
· Pack components into boxes according to packing instructions and bills of materials
· Ensure correct quantities, components, and packaging materials are used for each product
· Carry out visual checks to ensure components are free from defects or damage before packing
· Label boxes correctly and ensure all packaging information is accurate
· Maintain a clean, safe, and organised packing area
· Follow all health & safety procedures and safe working practices
· Meet daily packing targets while maintaining accuracy and quality
· Report shortages, damaged components, or quality issues to the supervisor
· Assist with general warehouse or production tasks as required
Quality & Compliance
· Follow company quality procedures and work instructions at all times
· Handle products carefully to prevent damage
· Support traceability through correct labelling and batch identification where required
Health & Safety
· Work in line with company Health & Safety policies
· Use correct manual handling techniques
· Wear required PPE where applicable
Skills & Experience
Essential:
· Good attention to detail
· Reliable and punctual
· Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Desirable:
· Previous packing, warehouse, or production experience
· Experience in a manufacturing environment
Physical Requirements
· Ability to stand for extended periods
· Manual handling of boxes and components within safe limits
Working Hours
Mon-Fri (8:30-5pm)
