As a Backend Developer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend systems using Node.js and TypeScript. This Backend Developer role sits within a modern engineering environment focused on microservices architecture, AWS cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain secure, scalable backend systems using Node.js and TypeScript
- Contribute to a microservices-based SaaS platform (70+ repositories)
- Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams
- Support deployment pipelines and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Docker, Terraform)
- Take ownership of technical challenges and production issues
Tech Stack:
- Node.js, TypeScript, Docker, Terraform
- AWS (ECS, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, SQS, SNS)
- CI/CD (GitLab), Git
- Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Backend Developer using Node.js and TypeScript
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Proactive mindset with strong ownership
