We are seeking dedicated Cleaners to join our team, responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards at a site in Shoreham by sea. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and previous experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning roles. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, washrooms, and communal areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces to ensure high standards of cleanliness
- Disinfect and sanitise surfaces as required to promote hygiene and safety
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to minimise risks
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail with organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently within allocated timeframes
- Good communication skills and reliability are essential
- Physical fitness to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods
