Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of an exciting new 15,000sq ft city centre serviced office . The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a comprehensive understanding of administrative procedures. This role offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to the efficiency and success of our organisation by managing various administrative functions and supporting team members effectively.
Duties
- Manage and coordinate daily office activities to ensure smooth operations.
- Supervise administrative staff, providing guidance and support to optimise team performance.
- Oversee human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and staff records management.
- Financial record keeping, invoicing, and expense tracking.
- Maintain organised filing systems both digitally and physically for easy access to documents.
- Handle correspondence via phone, email, and in person with professionalism and courtesy, maintaining excellent phone etiquette.
- Organise meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes as required.
- Monitor office supplies inventory and place orders to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Assist with implementing organisational policies and procedures to enhance productivity.
Experience
- Proven experience in office management or administrative roles with supervisory responsibilities.
- Demonstrable experience in team management and human resources functions.
- Previous office or clerical experience is required, with a solid understanding of organisational workflows.
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—are vital for effective interaction across all levels of the organisation.
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently under pressure.
- Experience supervising staff members and managing multiple projects simultaneously is highly desirable.
Pay: £35,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
