- 12 hour night shifts starting between 5pm and 9pm
- Rota covering 5 nights out of 7
The role of HGV Class 1 Driver:
- Class 1 store deliveries - transporting goods to various retail store locations across Scotland
- Guarantee punctual and secure deliveries while strictly following traffic and safety protocols
- Loading and unloading cages using a tail lift
- Coordinate with the logistics team to organise deliveries and achieve deadlines
- Accurately document deliveries and fulfil paperwork obligations
- Liaise with store staff providing a high level of customer service
The ideal HGV Class 1 Driver:
- Valid HGV Class 1 licence with relevant CPC certification and Tacho card
- Proven experience as an HGV Class 1 driver, including prior multi-drop experience
- Strong understanding of road safety regulations and compliance
- Good customer service and communication skills
A driving assessment must be passed before starting in this role.
