We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Volunteer Radio Presenters to join our broadcasting team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop media skills, engage with diverse audiences, and contribute to community broadcasting. Devote Radio is an exciting new multi-platform radio station, launching across Small-Scale DAB in Walsall as well as online and on mobile. Built from the ground up with a passion for great music, engaging content, and fresh talent, Devote Radio is focused on creating a modern, inclusive listening experience that connects with audiences both locally and beyond. Responsibilities:
- Present or voice track a regular 3-hour radio show using WebVT or deliver live broadcasts where applicable
- Plan and prepare show content, including music, links, and features in line with the Devote Radio brand
- Upload and manage show content using Aiir, including the Studio Inbox for listener interaction
- Engage with listeners through voice, messaging, and interactive features where appropriate
- Maintain consistent audio quality and follow station broadcasting guidelines
- Collaborate with the programming team to develop ideas and improve output
- Meet agreed deadlines for voice tracking and show delivery
- Represent Devote Radio in a professional and positive manner at all times

Qualifications
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present confidently on air
- Experience or interest in journalism, media production, or related fields is desirable
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan and prepare content effectively
- Previous experience in radio presenting or journalism is beneficial but not essential; training will be provided
- A proactive attitude, creativity, and enthusiasm for community engagement are essential
