We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly team in Winwick. If you are passionate about supporting children's development and enjoy working as part of a collaborative team, we would love to hear from you.
The Role
As a Level 3 Practitioner, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality care and education for children within the nursery. You will support children's learning through play, build positive relationships with families, and contribute to creating a nurturing and engaging environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a safe, caring, and inclusive environment for all children.
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Observe, assess, and record children's progress to support their individual learning journeys.
- Act as a Key Person, developing strong relationships with children and their families.
- Support children's emotional wellbeing and encourage their independence and confidence.
- Ensure safeguarding and welfare requirements are consistently met.
- Maintain accurate records and complete all required documentation to a high standard.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote outstanding practice across the nursery.
- Contribute to the preparation and organisation of the learning environment, both indoors and outdoors.
- Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities as required.
What We're Looking ForEssential Requirements
- A full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years Childcare.
- Previous experience working within an early years setting.
- A sound understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive, enthusiastic, and flexible approach to work.
- A genuine passion for supporting young children's learning and development.
Desirable Requirements
- Paediatric First Aid qualification.
- Experience as a Key Person.
- Knowledge of observation and assessment systems used within early years settings.
- Experience supporting children with additional needs.
