C9 Recruitment are currently seeking experienced Coach Drivers to join a well established and respected coach operator based in Watford. Our client runs a mixture of school contracts and private hire.
This is an excellent opportunity for professional drivers looking for full time work on a temp to perm basis.
Job Description
Professional coach driving role operating modern vehicles on a range of duties including private hire & school contracts.
Drivers will be responsible for providing a safe, professional and customer focused service while ensuring full compliance with tachograph regulations and drivers’ hours legislation.
Salary
Umbrella rates:
Monday – Friday - £23.24 per hour
Weekends - £25.90 per hour
Bank Holiday - £30.54 per hour
Christmas - £37.18 per hour
PAYE rates:
Monday - Friday - £17.50 per hour
Weekends - £19.50 per hour
Bank Holiday - £23.00 per hour
Christmas - £28.00 per hour
Requirements (Essential)

Valid PCV Licence (Category D)

Driver CPC Qualification Card

Digital Tachograph Card
-
Minimum 6 months bus or coach driving experience

EDBS or Standard DBS ( EDBS will be processed by client)

Strong customer service and communication skills

Professional appearance and attitude

Ability to operate vehicles safely and efficiently

Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points

Minimum age 21 ( Insurance purposes)
Responsibilities

Safely operate modern high specification coach vehicles
- Deliver excellent customer service to passengers

Ensure compliance with tachograph regulations and drivers’ hours legislation

Carry out daily walk around vehicle safety checks

Maintain a professional and smart appearance in line with company standards

Represent the operator professionally during events, tours and private hire duties
