Are you the sort of tiler who notices when a line is a few millimetres out… and it bothers you?
Do you take a bit of pride when a customer steps back and says “that looks spot on”?
If that sounds like you, this role will probably make sense.
About the Role
This company specialises in kitchen and bathroom renovations across Southampton, Winchester and the surrounding areas.
The work is consistent and properly planned. They usually run around 4–5 projects a month, which means you’re not constantly being dragged from site to site trying to finish three jobs at once. You can actually focus on doing the job properly.
Every project is a full renovation, so you’ll be part of a team of trades working together to deliver a finished kitchen or bathroom the customer is genuinely happy with.
It’s the sort of place where people take pride in their work, turn up when they say they will, and look out for each other on site.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Tiling walls and floors in kitchens and bathrooms
- Working with large format tiles, herringbone patterns, and wet rooms
- Making sure finishes are clean, straight, and something you’re proud to leave behind
- Speaking with customers on site and keeping things professional
- Running your own areas of the job while coordinating with other trades when needed
Who you are
- Around 5+ years of residential tiling experience
- Confidence with walls, floors, and more detailed layouts
- Someone who works efficiently but still cares about the finish
- Reliable and professional on site (turning up on time matters here)
- Comfortable dealing with customers day to day
- Your own tools would be helpful, but not essential
- You must be based in Southampton, Winchester or Eastleigh areas.
The Team
This is a small, supportive, straight-talking team.
Leadership is clear and practical. No corporate nonsense. If something needs saying, it gets said, and if you do a good job it gets noticed.
People here take pride in the finish and look out for each other on site. The standard is simple really. Turn up, do the job properly and be someone the rest of the team is happy to work alongside.
