Duties
- Perform a variety of nail treatments including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with attention to detail and hygiene standards.
- Provide specialised services such as eyelash extensions, makeup application, and deep tissue massage upon client request.
- Manage front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, scheduling appointments, and handling enquiries efficiently.
- Engage with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable treatments or products through effective upselling techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness and sterilisation of tools and workstations in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage social media accounts to promote services, showcase work, and attract new clients through engaging content.
- Assist with guest services to ensure a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits and positive reviews.
- Support management with organisational tasks related to appointment flow and client records.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Nails Technician or in a similar beauty therapy role; additional skills in management or social media management are advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients.
- Experience with eyelash extensions, makeup application, deep tissue massage, or barbering is considered a plus but not essential.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple appointments efficiently.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards within the beauty industry.
- Friendly demeanour with outstanding communication skills to foster a positive client experience.
- Ability to work flexibly within a team environment while maintaining high standards of professionalism.
