Were looking for a reliable and hardworking Production Assistant to join our busy timber yard team.
This is a hands-on role where youll support the production and preparation of timber products, ensuring quality standards and customer requirements are consistently met.

Operate machinery safely and efficiently (in line with training)

Carry out continuous quality checks on materials

Ensure sundries are stocked (banding tape, sheeting, labels, etc.)

Prepare and present finished timber packs to a high standard

Accurately label products with customer and stock details

Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment

Report any health & safety concerns or improvements
Essential:

Strong work ethic and reliability

Good attention to detail

Ability to work in a fast-paced, physical environment

Positive attitude and team player
Desirable:

Experience as a saw operator
-
Sideloader (forklift) experience or licence
-
Background in timber, manufacturing, or warehouse work
