Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Assistant to join our team and support the daily operations of our children's nursery.
Duties
- Working as part of a team taking care of the daily needs of the children whilst ensuring a very high standard of physical, emotional and intellectual care of each child.
- Supporting the daily routine within the setting.
- Assist with the weekly planning programmes of activities suitable to the age range of the children.
- Develop new ideas which will enhance the children's play and learning via music and art
Qualifications
- Previous experience working with young children in a paid or voluntary capacity is highly desirable.
- Paediatric First Aid Training and Child Protection Training are desirable.
- A Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent is desirable or the willingness to undertake a childcare course in order to obtain this qualification while working at the nursery.
Pay: £13.30 per hour
