Working out of Tarmac's plant you will be delivering Aggregates & Asphalt to sites in and around Yorkshire, start and finish times can vary depending on the workload for the day.
Duties
- Safely operate a Class 2 tipper lorry to transport materials to designated locations.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, ensuring it is in safe working condition.
- Load and unload materials, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Plan routes effectively to meet delivery schedules and optimise fuel efficiency.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate with the dispatch team regarding progress or issues.
- Ensure compliance with all legal requirements related to commercial driving and vehicle operation.
- Ensure the vehicle is kept clean & tidy
A valid C or CE licence entitlement
MPQC is required
Valid CPC & Digital Tacho
Experience driving a tipper is essential.
If you go over 45 hours Monday - Friday an overtime rate of £15p/h is paid
Alternate Saturdays are required when work is available paid between £130-£150 for shifts worked.
For insurance purposes you must have less than 6 points and 12 months HGV experience.
